Joel Klebanoff: Stuff & Nonsense

To worry is to be. To be is to worry.

Life Begins at 40

Some people say that life begins at 40. By that philosophy, I’m now over a year into my teens. Thankfully, my acne hasn’t returned and my voice hasn’t changed again. I don’t want a return visit of either of those things. I would, however, like another crack at going through the period that included the height of my sexual prowess. I think I could make much better use of it this time. Or, if not better, at least more frequent.

So, if life begins at 40, then at the height of a man’s sexual prowess they wouldn’t be all that much alive… Does that count as necrophilia?

I’m 51 and I would like to tell you that it gets better physically as you get older but I can’t. You balance loss of stamina with experience to a degree.

I am over 40 and I can sort of see what you’re saying. I don’t care what people think as much as I used to. That’s pretty grown up.
