Joel Klebanoff: Stuff & Nonsense

To worry is to be. To be is to worry.

Retirement Thoughts

I’m at the age when I’m still quite a ways off retirement, but I’m close enough that I should start thinking about it now. I’m more than a little concerned about what I’m going to do if and when I quit working. I don’t have any hobbies that consume a lot of time, unless, of course, you consider worrying to be a pastime. Clearly, I’m going to have to develop some additional interests before I retire to prevent a premature death due to boredom.

It took me some time, but I think I’ve finally found something. I’m going to make it one of my life goals to become a dirty old man. I’ve been fairly inhibited all my life, so I figure I’d better start cultivating my new lifestyle now. I want to make sure I’m ready when the time comes.
